I’ve had this app for years but I just noticed after not using this for seven years that I cannot check off the chapters on the last line on each page. It’s like a scaling issue or something. I’m using an iPhone 12. I also see there are not check boxes for 2 Chron 20 and 21 in the month of April. I am now using an iPhone 14
I use this for keeping track with my bible app and have for several years. It works great! The only thing I would like to see changed how Psalms 119 is split up. It’s the longest book with 176 verses and it would be entirely understandable to only read that book for the day. I could even understand doubling up on some other days where the books only have 2-6 verses.
This is nothing more than a bunch of ads with a simple checkbox app for marking what you have read. Ads pop up so often that you can’t even mark the entry for what you’ve read today.
Just what do needed. A tracker. I prefer to read the Bible in book form but need help with keeping track. This app does just that and allows me to change the start date.
I love this app, when my mom introduced it to me I wanted to read more often!
Great App to keep good track of my Bible reading.
Love this app!!! So simple yet So organized!!!! Makes reading the Bible in a year soooooo much easier!!!
Must have!!!!
Thanks so much for the update, works great now on iOS 9 and my iPhone 6s! Great app.
I've been using the app since Jan and recently the digits for every day past 9 are gone and replaced by ellipses (...). It's fine if I stay on track every day, but that isn't always the case if I'm out of town or have family visiting. It makes it harder to know how far behind I am when there aren't any dates. I have to scroll up to the 9th and try to count all the tiny little rows without accidentally checking off any boxes...no impossible, but not nearly as convenient as when all the dates were listed numerically.
I used this app in Apr 2013-Mar 2014, and it really helped me to start reading my bible regularly. I could see how much I was behind as well as how good it felt to check off more than one day's worth of reading. I actually finished the Bible in less than a year, largely thanks to this app. I'm about to do the one year plan again, so I went back on the app to find that many of the reviewer's suggestions actually were used in the updated app! So thank you for that little perk (you just saved me from doing so much more math). I would recommend this app to anyone; especially to those who have trouble keeping track of what they have/have not read. Even if it takes you 3+ years to read the entire bible (basically a chapter a day), that is still so worth it-- I mean, you're probably going to be alive for longer than that, so putting in the time now is an investment that will be help you for the rest of your life-- guaranteed.
Good basic app, but it's a pain to uncheck all boxes when competed. There should be a button that just unchecked all when you are done so you can start over. It's a pain to uncheck boxes individually & the if you scroll they become checked again automatically! Frustrating!!
Hi, this is a nice simple app to maintain ur progress of reading the entire Bible. I used it and found only two short comings 1) 2 chronicles ch 20 n 21 is missing 2) when making a check one should ho bk to main page for it to take effect. If u scroll the marks r reverted. Otherwise its a great book marker thank you
I really love this app I purchased it a year + ago and it has really helped me with my daily bible study. I would highly recommend this app to keep you on track for your personal bible reading. I do have a suggestion that the developer add a reminder tool - that would be fantastic. The update is wonderful I was able to remove the ads - they were annoying but I know you have to pay bills.
So far it's been a great checklist! Missing 2 Chronic 20 and 21.
This app is very basic. Just a checklist throughout the year. And to whoever said that it misses chunks of the Bible, just scroll down!! The one big problem for me is that I want to read through starting in February, but I would like to start from Genesis. The app doesn't allow for you to change the dates, and there are no other apps like this out there. App developers- PLEASE ALLOW US TO CHANGE THE DATES! Thanks:)
This is a simple way to keep track of your reading with the Bible broken out in daily readings. If you start in May, read from that date forward and start over again the next January - simple & basic It helps keep you accountable especially if you agree with someone else to do the same.
As I was scrolling through the months, I went from one month into the next and it had cut out a significant chunk of the Bible. It jumped from Zephaniah to Luke 18 and only went to 1 Thessalonians. Find another program, this one isn't worth it.
I've read my Bible through a couple of times & even bought a "one year Bible" in hopes of staying on track.... But I had two problems: I'm attached to my leather bound Bible & don't like reading from a paper back Bible & I didn't like all the extra devotional stuff.... This app helps me stay on track & use my old Bible & takes away any excuse for being lax in my daily reading..... :)
I want to start reading today, not on Jan 1st. It wouldnt be hard to add a feature that allows me to plug in todays date and get my own daily readings. If it sent me a text or email reminder daily, that would be even better. Thanks!
It's missing 2 Ch 19,20 though but it's still a great app.
The "Bible in a Year" app encourages Christians to read the bible with a daly bible chapter for each month. It does not provide a bible, because the goal is to get you to want to open one and read. Not only should you use this to help you read the bible, but to help you put the bible into action.
This app is very straight forward and to the point. It serves it's purpose well-keeping track of daily bible readings. I think it's be cool if you could set a daily reminder or notification to check off your reading!
Fantastic app!
It is a great way to keep track of reading your bible!!!!!
I think this is a great app. Allows you to stay on track day to day! Although it doesn't provide the Bible, it's still a great tracker....and we should all own a paper copy anyhow!!!
What a great way to track your daily scripture reading!
